How do I rate?

Posted on August 26, 2019 Written by Developer Leave a Comment

I think that there has been an unhealthy inflation in ratings over the past decade(s). This goes from schools, online reviews, feedback cards, restaurant reviews and so on.
If something is adequate you should give it 11 out of 10 stas and super happy smile, so that nobody feels bad and everyone gets the bonus.
I think that is bollocks.
The highest grade should be given to work that is unique and groundbreaking, not to something that is pretty good.
It should be damn near impossible to graduate with “All As”.
You would have to be a genius in every single field as well as a world class athlete, not a slightly above average intelligence who works hard.

This is important when you read my reviews since my scores might seem low for everything, I am just more conservative with hanging out top marks.
