This is another gem that I did not think I would like as much as I do.
The book is funny, and you never quite know what is going to happen yet, but chances are it will end up amusing even when bad things occur.
Imagine that there are almost infinite dimensions, and more are created at every decision made.
Obviously, a lot can happen across so many different dimensions and this is where insurance comes into play. You can prevent evil things happening to you by buying an interdimensional insurance plan.
You can buy it for yourself, for a country or really anything else, I think.
Selling such policies are never easy but our protagonist does well. Unfortunately for the insurance agent he is also the front guy for defeating the enemies. He even must risk his bowtie to do it.
Lots of whacky comedy, an ill-equipped internet and the cut throat business of interdimensional insurance.
The only thing I can think of some people might react to are the somewhat political jokes that are sprinkled in the book.
I personally found them quite funny.
